There is only one word for this morning. Wow!

A note from Jeanne.

Over 60 women showed up in the dark for our first Saturday morning training run.

Women with strollers, women with friends, women with sisters, women doing this on their own, women teamed up, women, women, women. We are united in this. There are now over 100 women involved in our group of “Coasters.” We greeted the sunrise over Woodland.

As I took photos after the race I could not help but notice how everyone, and I mean everyone, glowed

Each of you had a smile and looked beautiful – after running.

What does that say? Endorphins? Community? Accomplishment? Fun? Yes, to all of those and more. You made it from Long Beach to Manhattan Beach.

Bye for now, more later,

Dr. J.

Did anyone else see the turkey in a yard near the corner of Midway and W. Monte Vista Drive? It was a neat treat for us! Thank you for getting a picture of the sunrise, Jeanne – it was Stunning!!

We saw the turkey too 🙂 It is always fun to see wildlife in the middle of the city. The first couple of times we saw turkeys here I thought they were fake, then they moved, haha. We just moved here from the DC suburbs and the craziest things was to see deer walking around the middle of the burbs.
I agree about the sunset, I keep thinking about it today.
