Fuel: Overview

The body has 3 Sources of Fuel:

1.  Carbohydrates:  The Primary Energy Source
Pasta-Brown Rice-Potatoes-Cereal-Fruit-Vegetable-Whole Grains

2.  Protein:  Build & Repairs Body Tissues
Lean Meats-Low Fat Cottage Cheese-Eggs-Beans-PB&J-Nuts

3.  Fat:  Insulates and Protects Vital Organs
Note: Exits the body slowly, not a good prerun food (can cause cramping and diarrhea)
Coconut Oil-1 TBS/day to increase metabolism
